Data Analyst

About the Role
Prospera Talent Agency is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to join our client’s analytics team in Tampa, FL. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, strong knowledge of data tools, and a passion for turning numbers into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to support business decisions
Build dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and identify trends or anomalies
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions
Develop and maintain SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation
Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical teams
Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data analysis role
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Solid understanding of Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas
Experience with Python or R for data analysis is a plus
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field

Preferred Skills
Experience working in a business environment (e.g., finance, marketing, operations)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google BigQuery, Azure)
Understanding of data governance and best practices
